August 2014-present
Coach and mentor independent student journalists at The OU Daily and Sooner yearbook. At The Daily, we grew unique visitors 345%, total page views 309%, sports page views 1,131% and total social following 343% in my first two years vs. prior two. We also were Gold Crown and print Pacemaker winners and a digital Pacemaker runner up. At Sooner, we have won a Pacemaker and a Silver Crown, set a sales record, overhauled our business strategy and launched online ordering. In the past two years, Daily and Sooner have sent students on to 41 internships or jobs.
